•     Today is Munch and Mingle. If you signed up to bring food please take it to the kitchen when you arrive to church.\

•      TONIGHT at the Stake Center there is the Back to School Fireside at 7 pm.

·       The Temple is closed until September 14^th

·       Fill the Temple day is September 17^th

·       The next food storage class will be September 8^th at the stake center at 10am

   August Book Club- Mr. Penumbras 24-hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan

·       Temple tours held by the Mission President and Missionaries are held on every second Sunday starting at 6 and goes every 15 min. There are Spanish tours as well. It is a wonderful opportunity for friends and family to feel the spirit and learn more about the temples of God.

·       Temple recommend interviews are 1^st Tuesday and 3^rd Wednesday – these new dates and times will start on April 1^st  They are first come first serve.

·       The stake will be holding food storage classes at 10am at the stake center. The dates are:  Sept 8, Oct 13, and Nov 10. There are also ongoing food storage classes at the Houston Cannery.

·       Join the Nottingham Country Ward Ladies Google Group by sending an email to juliesewell@gmail.com.

·       Family History writing class - Tuesdays at 10:30 am in the Family History Center. Bring something to write on to record family history. Contact Jana McClain at 832-771-3718.

·       Our RS bought two awesome pressure canners and a large scanner for family history projects. Anyone in the ward can use them, so contact Kami Latorre!

•      We have a RS activity THIS THURSDAY the 16^th at 6:30 pm. We are going to Tasti D-lite on the SE corner of Westgreen and Kingsland for ice cream. Hope all can come out to socialize!

Lesson #12 “Seek the Spirit in all You Do”

·       Temple tours held by the Mission President and Missionaries are held on every second Sunday starting at 6 and goes every 15 min. There are Spanish tours as well. It is a wonderful opportunity for friends and family to feel the spirit and learn more about the temples of God.

·       We have a RS activity this month! It will be June 24^th, 6:30 pm at Diane Sheley’s house. (1927 Hollow Wind Dr) Lisa Davies will be showing us how to decorate cards. Cards will be provided, but please any scrapbooking or other supplies you might be willing to share. As well as snacks to share! Hope all can make it!  

  Katy Stake Youth Show Choir presents A Celebration of American Music on FRIDAY, JUNE 27 at 7 PM. Katy Stake Center Youth from all wards are represented. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring your whole family and friends and enjoy a great presentation and be uplifted by these wonderful youth. 

·       Ward conference will be June the 28^th.

·       There will also be a missionary fireside on June 28^th at 7 pm in the Stake Center. Please bring friends and family so they can feel the spirit!

·       Grocery Bags Needed – Katy Christian Ministries Food Pantry is in need of plastic and paper grocery bags to help patrons at the pantry with their food orders.  (These are the bags you receive from the grocery store.)  The bags should be clean of food and in good shape (No holes or tears). If you would like to donate your bags please drop them by my home.  If we are not there you may leave them inside the glass door.  Questions – contact Sue Feil 281-578-5047
